Jal Nigam To Install Water Meters In Indiranagar, Gomtinagar

UP News: The Jal Nigam in Uttar Pradesh is now making up plans to regularize the consumption of water and so that there is no wastage of water. These days people are not thinking much about conserving the water and the percentage of wastage has been consequently increasing, the taps are open even when people are not using the water. Hence the corporation has decided to plan out ways to deter the consumption of water so that there is no wastage and we can use water for our future perspectives. Now there will be special water meters going to be provided in each houses of the city to monitor the usage of water of any average household. These water meters are going to be installed in the areas of Indiranagar and Gomtinagar by the end of September this year. Earlier this project was delayed due to insufficient funds.

Uttar Pradesh News is that now the basic plan of this idea is that firstly there will be a survey all across the areas of Lucknow where the overall average consumption of water will be calculated, this way if there is any extra consumption of water done in those areas the consumers will have to pay for their extra usage of water. This is the best way where people are going to be cautious about the usage of water and there wont be any wastage of water and gradually will be reduced.
Now the plans and funds are ready to install this design and test it in two areas of Lucknow; Indiranagar and Gomtinagar. The people of the city have to know about the ethics of living and should know the morals of life. Where they should learn that if they will save water, it will be beneficial for their own family in the coming future, where their kids will not face any water crisis. Hence a major step had to be taken, which led to this decision controlling the water consumption.
Latest UP News: Jal Nigam also quoted that this job wont be easy alone for the Jal Nigam to execute hence they are offering this opportunity to the private organizations so that they can plan out to execute this design and install these meters in every household and they are even given the opportunity to monitor the usage so as to measure a control. This is the best way, where the billing, monitoring and maintenance will be in the hands of private sector.
