- 1). Place the clock near a window for best reception. If possible, the clock should face in the general direction of Fort Collins, Colo.
- 2). Install a fresh AA alkaline battery in the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- 3). Press the time zone button on the back of the clock that corresponds to your area of the U.S. From left to right, the buttons are PT (Pacific), MT (Mountain), CT (Central) and ET (Eastern).
- 4). Wait for the clock to automatically set itself. If the clock cannot find the radio signal within five minutes, it will move its hands to the 4, 8 or 12 o'clock positions. The clock will then try to find the signal again every hour. When the clock shows the proper time, it has found the signal. If the clock does not find a signal within 24 hours, try relocating it to get better radio reception.
