For example, Indiana University of Pennsylvania offers an accredited undergraduate degree in sociology with a human services track, while the University of Massachusetts offers a solid online human services degree program.
- 3). Consider schools that offer internship or practicum opportunities, as such programs provide enhanced professional training and contact-building opportunities. Since human services degree programs train students primarily in vocational (as opposed to academic) skill areas, schools that offer career contact opportunities give students a head start in their job search.

- 5). Enroll in the required general education and human services major courses by following your academic adviser's recommended schedule.
