How to Make a Natural Bug Spray for Tomato Plants
- 1). Put five chili peppers into a blender or food processor and puree.
- 2). Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of warm water. Mix in the pureed chili peppers.
- 3). Let the mixture set for 24 hours. Strain it through a piece of cheesecloth to remove any large chunks. Use this mixture undiluted and store the unused portion in an air-tight container.
- 1). Pour 3 oz. of finely-minced garlic into a large bowl. Add 2 tsp. of mineral oil and stir it up well. Let the mixture sit for 24 hours.
- 2). Add 2 cups of water to the mixture. Stir in 1/4 oz. of biodegradable liquid soap.
- 3). Strain the mixture through a piece of cheesecloth to remove the chunks of garlic. Use 1 to 2 tbsp. of the mixture for every two cups of water. Store unused spray in an air-tight container.
