How to Remove Lables From Plastic Bottles
- 1). Apply a few drops of lighter fluid onto a cotton swab. Rub the swab on the label. It is inexpensive and cuts most adhesives quickly.

Dip a cotton swab into into rubbing alcohol. Work the alcohol over the label until it loosens. Wash label away. - 3). Put a spoon of peanut butter on the label. Spread it, so it is covered. Let it sit overnight. Wash and rinse.
- 4). Soak the plastic bottle in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. Then remove the label with a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover.
- 5). Pour a few drops of mineral spirits over the label. Make sure the label is completely covered. After 5 to 10 minutes check to see if label has loosened. If not, repeat process.
- 6). Spray label with cooking spray. Allow to sit 15 minutes and peel away the label.

Set the plastic bottle in the sink. Fill the bottle with very hot water above the the label.
Now fill the sink with hot water, covering the label on the outside of the bottle. Let the bottle soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the label.
