How to Use Graph Paper & Set Up a Coordinate Plane Using Primes
- 1). Use the ruler and pencil to draw a straight line from left to right through the middle of the page. This line will serve as the graph's "X" axis.
- 2). Bisect the "X" axis by drawing a straight line from the top of the page to the bottom. This vertical line will serve as the graph's "Y" axis.
- 3). Label both the "X" and "Y" axis as well as the point where the two axes intersect. Label this point "0".
- 4). Plot the prime numbers just below the "X" axis on the graph. Start with "2" and label until there is no more room on the "X" axis.
- 5). Plot the prime numbers to the left of the "Y" axis on the graph. Start with "2" and label until there is no more room on the "Y" axis.
