Nowadays many of us try to find the easiest and the cheapest (in terms of education) way to start making career in the health care industry.
Usually it takes going to college and obtaining the degree in order to deal with medicine.
But if you do not want to spend money and time for education, you can get enrolled in the medical field by finishing special training courses and getting the certification allowing you to have a job at medical institutions like hospitals, long-term treatment facilities, nursing homes etc.
People who decide to choose this way usually join certified nursing assistant programs as the first step in their career making.
But there is another option to work in the health care industry without going to college - to become a phlebotomist.
Having the certificate in phlebotomy you can work at any medical facility that provides blood servicing (sampling, donating, storage, analyses and test performance etc).
In order to obtain the certification you must finish special training courses at the end of which students sit for an exam.
Nowadays you can find many training programs of different types.
Usually medical facilities provide you with class-room based courses where students have to attend classes for theoretical training and hands-on training carried out in labs.
This is considered the best way to get necessary knowledge, as students receive all theoretical and practical skills required by the profession.
But if you do not have time to attend classes you can choose online programs available nowadays in every state.
Usually the duration and cost of the programs differ from state to state and depend on many factors.
There are also free phlebotomy courses.
