Asthma is a chest illness that causes difficulty in breathing.

Complete cure of asthma is not possible, but necessary precautions taken by the child and the parent will ensure that the child is remains hale and hearty.

Talking to the doctor will help you to identify the asthma triggers within your house and ways of getting rid of them.
Note down the medications that the child needs to take in case of an attack.
A vigorous and well-managed plan followed on a day to day basis at home will help you to keep your child's asthma in control.
Smoke given out by power plants, factories or fire, dust, crackers and fumes given out by cars triggers asthma.
Asthma attacks could occur immediately or the next day too.
To evade outdoor pollution avoid going outdoors when the pollution level is at its peak.
One could also postpone or reschedule their activity if the level of pollution has increased outdoors.
If your child is wheezing while inhaling, gets tired easily while playing, takes short breathe, has a disturbed sleeping pattern, persistently coughing, complains of pain in the chest, then this could be early signs of asthma.
