    • 1). Use the 1-touch way to access voice record. Flip open your phone and look at the top 1/2 of the clamshell where it says "Motorola." Find the silver button on the bottom right side of it. Press and hold. A box will appear on your screen that says "Voice Record." Make your recording and let go of the button when you are finished. Letting go of the button automatically stops it. Skip to Step 3.

    • 2). Find the Voice Record option in the Settings menu. Open your phone and look at the bottom 1/2 of the clamshell. Press the round silver button in the middle of the arrow buttons. Use the arrows to go to "My Stuff" at the bottom left. Push the round button. You will see "Media Finder." Use the arrows to go to the icon on the bottom right. It looks like a microphone. Push the round button. You are now in Voice Recorder. Push the round button to start or stop your recording.

    • 3). Push the button on the top left of the bottom half of the clamshell. (It has 1 dot in the center.) You will get a popup window that asks if you want to discard, preview or send your recording as an SMS attachment or to save it as a ringtone. Use the down arrow to move to preview so you can hear what your recording sounds like. Press the round button again.

    • 4). Listen to the preview. Then push the button on the top right of the bottom 1/2 of the clamshell to select "Back." Go back to Options by following the instructions in Step 3 to send, save or delete the recording. Or you can push the right-hand button again to store the recording to your phone's memory for later use.

    • 5). Make as many additional recordings as you'd like by pushing the round silver button to start. When you're finished, push the top right button to exit the Voice Recorder.
