Your decision to quit smoking was an excellent one! So congrats.
You will face challenges ahead, but nothing that you can't overcome.
Herein are some tips that will help you kick nicotine to the curb for good.
The thing about smoking is that its a habit.
So it has seeped into your daily life and has wrapped itself around seemingly innocent things like your breakfast.
Your lunch break.
Driving your car.
So the only way you will be able to bring about an effective change is if you have a plan.
Using nicotine replacement has worked well for many.
Using gum, patches, or sprays you are stepping down your nicotine usage as opposed to going cold turkey.
The theory here is that you are less likely to fail if you don't just quit.
But even using these replacements you can increase your success if you add a "good" habit.
Like walking in the evening.
Or eating a carrot stick when you have the urge to smoke.
