    • 3). Observe the individual or yourself, for signs of difficulty breathing, even if it is mild. These sensations may be a feeling that you just can't get enough air or take a deep enough breath.

    • 4). Watch for coughing that may present within 2 to 7 days after onset of infection. The cough usually associated with SARS is dry.

    • 5). Be alert for any signs of increased difficulty breathing. Don't wait to see how the illness progresses, but seek the help of a medical professional right away.
