Using Solar Lights to Help Sell Your Home

In the highly competitive housing market that we are all experiencing today, the need to stand out from the crowd becomes a necessity when looking to sell your home.
One very practical and relatively inexpensive way to do this is with exterior accent lighting.
It is the exterior features of your home that will help you to differentiate your property from other would-be sellers.
Assets such as trees, walkways, flowers, gardens, decks, and pools require extra attention.
In a typical home, the investment that has gone into these exterior assets is not proportionately reflected in the price of the home.
Don't worry, putting exterior accent lighting in place does not mean that you have to invest in expensive wiring or other potential electrical hazards.
This can all be accomplished with solar lights.
Solar powered lights typically come in sets, and sets come in various styles with different fixtures and mounting options available for your various needs.
Each individual light in the set stands alone and works right out of the box.
There is no wiring or assembly (other than mounting) that is required.
The most exciting thing about solar lights is that they are relatively inexpensive and are not considered permanent fixtures, so you can take them with you when you move.
Here are some realistic applications we've seen done effectively.
You can outline the walkway to your front door with low-profile, low illumination lights to give your home that 'inviting' feel.
Trees and flower beds can be accented with focused solar spot lights.
Deck areas can be brought to life with effect lighting using multi-colored lights that automatically vary in intensity to give that 'flickering candle' effect.
Pools and spas can best be highlighted with floating light fixtures that reflect off of the surface of the water providing mood lighting that is unsurpassed.
Your home should always take all features into consideration.
The exterior of your home is what people see first, and will give them that lasting first impression.
Your outdoor space should bring forth color, as well as joy, even after the sun goes down.
An added benefit of using exterior accent lighting with solar lights is that your real estate agent will want to showcase your home after the sun has gone down, which means that that you will leave the all-important "last impression" with potential buyers.
