Some time ago, I happened to watch a movie title "Tara Zameen Pe" it is fantastic and amazing movie with unique and exceptional topic.
The main protagonist of the movie is a boy of thirteen who has the disease of Dyslexia.
He dislikes studies as he is unable to read and write properly and he is often criticized by his parents and teachers.
This movie stimulates me to know the disease of Dyslexia.
At Last "What is Dyslexia?" We are not much aware of this disease if we find a child round us who can not read or write properly who consider him or her idle or poor student we never try to explore the reasons behind it, he may fall a victim of dyslexia.
Dyslexia is a mental disability in which a child is unable to learn the language skills like reading, writing and spelling.
It is the most common disease or disorder in children and it lasts for throughout the life.
Children with dyslexia have inadequate chances to learn as they find it difficult to learn reading, writing and spelling.
The main cause of dyslexia is the weakness in brain's ability to translate images which are received by eyes or ears in an understandable language.
Dyslexia does not come from brain damage, hearing problems or lack of intelligence.
A child with dyslexia gets frustrated by the difficulty of learning to read or write and some time he is seen depressed and low self - esteem with behavior problems in school and home.
He dislikes studies and going to school.
Types of Dyslexia.
There are several types of dyslexia which are as following 1.
Trauma Dyslexia.
It is visible in the present school age population.
It takes place after brain trauma or injury and affects that area of brain which control reading and writing.

Primary Dyslexia.
Primary dyslexia is the dysfunction of the left sided brain and it exists forever.
Child with primary dyslexia has to struggle with reading writing and spelling.
It is heredity and is passed in family by genes.
It is more common in boys than girls.
3.
Developmental or secondary dyslexia.
Hormonal development causes secondary dyslexia at the early stages of fatal development.
It stops the mental growth of child.
It is found more in boys than girls 4.
Visual dyslexia.
Child with visual dyslexia is unable to write symbols in correct sequence.
5.
Auditory dyslexia.
It refers to difficulty to understand the sounds or group of latter.
6.
Dysgraphia.
It involves the difficulty to hold and control the pencil.
Causes of dyslexia.

It is the genetic diseases and is passed to family line by genes.
If parents have the disease of dyslexia then there is enough chance to have dyslexia in their kids 2.
It is caused by improper neuronal development as nerve cells take longer to develop and it brings about the failure of brain development fully 3.
Hearing problems at early age also quicken the chances of dyslexia because a child with hearing problem is unable to hear the sounds of letters correctly and fails to develop a connection between letters and their correct sound.

Normal children usually use the right side of brain but a child with dyslexia use the left side of brain that make it difficult to comprehend language this dependency creates problems for child to comprehend the language There are certain types of treatment available for dyslexia.
We find lot of theories about the successful treatment of dyslexia First of all the school must develop a plan with help of parents to satisfy the children's basic needs.
Children's weakness can be diminished by the appropriate treatment plan that involves the direct approach to include a systematic study of phonics.
Certain types of reading approaches can be used in this regard.
Compensation and copying skills can be used to teach the children.
Attitude plays a vital role in treatment plan.
Adult around child leaves deep influence on them.
Dyslexia should never be an excuse for a kid to avoid work because a child with dyslexia meets with huge requirement which can make him tired easily so small breaks should be made in class and homework times.
An appropriate plan and behavior can help a teacher to tackle with dyslexia.
