Projects With Power Producers
We have a wealth of experience in managing utility scale projects with insight into what it takes to work within the demands of regulatory policies and varying geographies, both in urban and rural areas. Some of the projects listed below are a testament to time tested knowledge; expertise and seamless execution of complex projects across India.
€ 17 MW solar plant in Mithapur, Gujarat
€ 10 MW plant in Chitradurga, Karnataka,
€ 5.75 MW plant in Naini, Uttar Pradesh,
€ 3 MW plant while maintainging the aesthetics of Mulshi, Maharashtra and
€ 2 MW solar plant in Saraikela, Jharkhand
On the fast track to grid parity
Groundbreaking development in PV technology has enabled significant cost reduction, driving solar power towards early grid parity. In fact, the per-unit cost of electricity from our projects is already lower than the grid connected energy cost in several states. The National Solar Mission has given great momentum to the development of India's solar ecosystem, and we believe that grid parity will be achieved across the country by 2015.
Offset escalating costs of conventional energy with TPS
In 2013, the cost of electricity generated by conventional sources like diesel across India was at least Rs 16/ kWh. On the other hand, solar electricity, with abundantly available free fuel and minimal maintenance, was just Rs 8-10/ kWh. In an age where conventional power sources cannot keep up with energy demands, depending on another non-renewable and expensive resource like diesel is not a viable option. Designed to minimize fuel and maintenance costs, TPS solar power plants convert solar energy to electricity in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
Superior performance, maximum output
TPS has installed over 15 utility scale projects across 11 states in India. Many of these plants have recorded higher power output than the predicted rate, exceeding expectations in power generation and effortless maintenance. For example, the 17 MW Mithapur plant has shown a Performance Ratio of 83.80% in the first year of operation €" almost 7.57% higher than the 76.23% generation target with an uptime of 99.5%. All of TPS solar plants generate an uptime of 98% minimum.
