- 1). Insert the keys into the ignition of the CR-V. Turn the ignition all the way forward to start the engine.
- 2). Press down on the brake and grab the gear shifter. Change gears from "P" to "D."
- 3). Press down on the accelerator pedal to begin accelerating and raising your RPM.
- 4). Press down on the brake pedal to lower your RPM.
