Kitchenware

• To get rid of baked-on grease from your dishes, scrub with a steel wood pad or pumice stone. You can also let the pot or pan soak in water and a fabric softener sheet overnight.
  
  

Do-It-Yourself Degreasers

• Scrub the greased object with a combination of ammonia and soapy water. Do this in a well-ventilated area, and try not to breathe in too much. Wear a face mask if necessary. If the object you're degreasing is small enough, you can also soak it in a combination of hot water, dish soap and vinegar. The vinegar will dissolve the grease.
