How to Remove Peanut Butter Stains From Clothes
Here's how to remove peanut butter stains from clothes whether from a jar or homemade:
Peanut butter is an oily stain that can usually be removed easily. First, using a dull knife scrape off any excess peanut butter from the fabric. Try not to push the food deeper into the fabric.
Treat the stained area with a solvent-based stain remover spray or gel. Allow the stain remover to work for several minutes.
Wash the garment in the hottest water recommended for the fabric. Check the stained area before drying. If the stain is not gone, repeat the process.
If the garment is dry clean only, point out and identify the stain to your professional cleaner. If you are using a home dry cleaning kit, be sure to treat the stain with the provided stain remover before putting the garment in the dryer bag.
