Making Pine Cone Wreaths Using Styrofoam Rings
- 1). Lay foam wreath base on a flat work surface. Use spray paint to color the entire ring so it matches the wreath. Allow spray paint to dry completely.
- 2). Glue pine cones to the foam base with a hot glue gun. Add as many pine cones as you like. Glue larger cones on the top layer of the wreath and use smaller cones to fill in blank spots around the sides.
- 3). Embellish the wreath with seasonal items or ribbons. Consider winding a ribbon around the wreath or form bows and glue them to the pine cones. You can also use hot glue to add cranberries, small artificial pumpkins or miniature Christmas ornaments.
- 4). Dab glue on to the edges of some of the pine cones, and shake some glitter on to the wet glue. This will add some sparkle to the wreath to finish it. Allow the wreath to dry completely before hanging it.
