Law of Attraction - Get in the Flow

I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Go with the flow".
I have come to really love this phrase because it really fits in with the whole 'law of attraction' methodology.
At the most basic level of the universe, I believe that there is a simple pure, positive energy that is the guiding force of every living and non-living thing in this universe.
I see it as a flowing river that knows the path that will take us to our highest good, as long as we allow it to.
Let's take this river idea one step further.
There are only 2 directions that you can take when you are in a river.
You can let go and let it take you downstream to where you want to be, or you can go against the current and struggle while you don't really go anywhere at all.
Now, using this analogy to look at the law of attraction, what is the factor in determining whether you are going downstream or upstream.
It's simple really...
it is your emotions.
Your emotions are like your "Law of Attraction Compass".
Your emotions tell you whether you are going downstream to where you want to be, or upstream being stuck and struggling to get ahead.
When you are feeling good and you are experiencing a positive emotion, you are tapped in to that universal energy that connects everything and IS everything.
And when you are tapped in, you are going downstream and that river is taking you right to where you want to be with the path of least resistance.
Vice versa, when you are feeling down, angry, frustrated, etc..
..
and negative emotion is taking over, you are trying to swim up that raging current with no luck at all.
When you are feeling negative emotions, you are disconnected from source energy and you are getting more of what you don't want.
Many people right now talking about the law of attraction are saying a lot about monitoring your thoughts.
I find this overkill.
I've tried it and it is very difficult to monitor and change every single negative thought you are having.
Sure you'll catch some, but you really aren't battling the problem at the root of the issue -- your emotions.
If you make an effort to monitor your emotions(which is much easier to do) then you are also in turn taking care of those negative thoughts.
If you are feeling good, then your thoughts are going to be positive, and if you are experiencing negative emotion, then your thoughts are going to be negatively focus.
Try feeling joyful and thinking a negative thought...
it really doesn't work does it?The same goes for the other way around.
So, make today a great day and make an effort to monitor your emotions.
If you aren't feeling all that good, then take a look at the thoughts you are thinking and either toss them out the window or change it around to something that feels better.
Make it a game, and play your way to a better life.
Have a wonderful day, Adam Faherty P.

- Remember to smile.
If you are feeling down and out, just smile and big ol' toothy grin.
It'll take your mind off that negative thought and immediately make you feel better.
I do it all the time, it works wonders.
