    • 2). Practice resistance tubing which provides resistance when the tubing is stretched. Equipment for this exercise is inexpensive, lightweight and readily available.

    • 3). Use free weights such as barbells and dumbbells. Other homemade options include plastic soft drink bottles filled with sand or water.

    • 4). Use a weight machine. You can purchase one to use at home or join a gym where various types are available.
