Network Marketing and the Golden Rule

"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
" The golden rule is something that is instilled in most of us as small children.
As children it means not taking a crayon away from a friend because we don't like it when other people do that to us.
As we grow older, we can apply the Golden Rule in many situations...
and it definitely applies in Network Marketing! One of the most important questions to ask yourself when building your Network Marketing business is, "Would I like it if someone did this to me?" When Network Marketers ask themselves this question, it changes the way they do business--and it becomes more effective.
Here are some examples.
The Golden Rule and Prospecting If you're approaching someone about your business opportunity (or products or service), do you approach them in a way you wouldn't mind being approached? I'm sure you appreciate it when people treat you respectfully.
Do you respect your prospects opinions even though they may not be what you want to hear? You probably don't like it when someone is pushy and doesn't listen to what you have to say.
Are you pushy with your prospects? Do you sincerely listen to what they have to say? When you do your advertising, do you place ads that you would want to respond to? And when people respond to your ads, do you approach them in a way you would like someone to approach you? The Golden Rule and Your Downline The Golden Rule doesn't just apply to prospecting, it applies to the way you interact with your downline as well.
If you were new to a Network Marketing business, you would expect to receive training from the person who sponsored you, right? And if they couldn't help you, you would probably like to have your questions answered by their sponsor.
So do you provide adequate training for those on your team? Can people just starting out approach you with questions and get help as they learn the ropes? By treating others the way you would want to be treated, you build strong relationships...
which in turn builds a strong and successful Network Marketing business.
