- 1). Run a wide-toothed comb through the hair of the mannequin to remove any tangles.
- 2). Follow the instructions on the wig shampoo of your choice and thoroughly wash the wig in a gentle manner.
- 3). Soak the wig in a sink filled with warm water for five minutes. Rinse any shampoo residue completely from the hair.
- 4). Apply wig conditioner to the wig. Run it through the hair for complete coverage and then rinse it out.
- 5). Dry the wig completely with a towel and spray it with wig spray.
- 6). Comb the wig again to ensure that the wig is tangle free.
