So what is a power of attorney form? A power of attorney form is a document not necessarily created by a lawyer. This is a document that says that you are authorizing someone (this usually a close friend or a relative) to act on your behalf. They are authorized to deal in your absence. That person is now called as the “attorney-in-fact” or as the “agent” while you are now called as the “principal”.

This power of attorney form can be revoked any time, if and when you think that you find that person’s job unacceptable. You can always assign a new person, and always revoke said power of attorney whenever you think it is needed.
