The Secret of Making People Like You Just a Little Better
We all have been there at one point.
You hit a wall, whether it is a personal wall in a relationship or a professional wall with a glass ceiling or a money cap.
You know when you at a wall.
Maybe it's the unknown wall like this economy.
So you're at this wall.
It could have shot up over night or it could have been there all along as the pink elephant you never would look at.
Whether you're at a mile high, mile thick, 400 miles to the right and left wall, now or if a bigger one pops up tomorrow, how do you get by the wall.
It all has to do with mindset.
"Whether you think you can or think you cannot you are right".
Said by Henry Ford.
"Do or do not there is not try".
Has been said by Yoda.
For some it seems effortless, for you and I it's a lot of work, worry and stress.
Stepping beyond our comfort zone a bit to get around the wall.
The choice is yours you can stand at the wall of defeat or do something that seems weird or hokey.
Anybody that was or is somebody that people look up to or envy in some way, started as just somebody with a dream.
They step beyond their walls and challenges.
Changing your mental mindset is a challenge but far less of a challenge than most think.
It can be as hard or easy as you make it to be.
That wall could be paper thin and just look solid.
Three quick and easy tips to making people like you just a little better.
First get rid of the "Dream Crushers", constantly negative news, and walk away from the fire hosers, you know the people who always put out your dreams and ideas.
Loved ones and friends do it all the time out of a scarcity mindset.
Don't make them wrong just know they do it out of miss guided concern.
Talk with the loved ones let them know you will not be watching TV as much.
Let the friends set on the sidelines.
If they are all driving 10 year old clunkers and you want to drive a brand new car you pay cash with, they're holding you back.
A true friend will see what you are doing and truly understand.
Second, take ten minutes and think about this.
In those ten minutes you are going to think about what you really want to do in life.
The house, the vacations you want do go on, the hobbies you have always wanted to start, the family you always wanted put it all on the paper.
So take ten minutes to think.
Then you have 20 minutes to write it all down on the paper.
What's not on the paper after 20 minutes you will not get.
We have all heard there is no such thing as something for nothing.
Well it's true.
Now here is the weird.
Take that paper you put your dream on in that 20 minutes and put it in the self help or mindset book of your choice.
When you're done with one book move it to the next or better yet, take 10 to think and write out your dreams again in 20 minutes.
Put that in your next book.
That paper you are giving the book is you're something to get something in return.
You gave the book your dreams and the book in return gives you the mindset to get what you want.
Think of it this way.
You already have the account number to your million dollar bank account and two of the four digit pin code.
The other two digits are in the mindset you just have to find and uncover the last two numbers and the riches are yours.
Third, don't just read and skim your way through the books you read.
Yes skim through a chapter and make some notes about what jumped out at you.
But after that, right after go back and really read the chapter.
Then take more notes and summarize in your own words what you read and what it means to you.
Then at the end of the book do a final report of what and how you can use the information in your life or your business.
These mindset, self help, self improvement books have most all of the answers.
Use them as your personal mastermind group.
Whether you are improving your relationship with your loved ones, your spirit, your business follow these quick and easy steps and the mile high walls that once stopped you in your tracks are now paper thin and with one easy step the wall is now behind you.
