Tinnitus is the perception of certain kinds of noise, ringing, or swishing in the ear in the absence of corresponding external sound.
Tinnitus is not a disease but a symptom resulting certain underlying causes.

3) Electrical Stimulation: In this treatment certain neurologist would apply an electrical or magnetic current for stimulation over the head of the patient to reduce ringing sound.
4) Psychological treatment: It is based on undergoing cognitive behavioral therapy by professional.
Of course the treatment for tinnitus depends on its level.

Certain other treatments like laser therapy, external sound treatment, additive stimulation therapy, etc.
are also recommended.
