- 1). Rinse your Sperry shoes with fresh water, if they have been worn in salt water.
- 2). Stuff the shoes with newspaper and allow them to air-dry. If the shoes have removable insoles, remove them before stuffing the shoes with newspaper.
- 3). Remove dirt by brushing the Sperry shoes with a soft-bristle brush.
- 4). Treat the leather with your choice of cream or gel leather protector. Treat Sperry suede or nubuck shoes with waterproofing spray treatment, if desired. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the best results.
