Say you have been dating your boyfriend for a year or so and you feel you have a great relationship.
You are completely in love with each other.
The two of you are very committed to the relationship.
No one would suspect anything was wrong at all.
However, there are times that you are laying in bed at night and out of the blue he will ask "Are you cheating on me?" or "Are you ever going to hurt me?" Of course you have never cheated on him nor have you ever thought about it.
This makes you really defensive and in turn it causes arguments that don't need to be happening.
It gets to the point that you feel sick to your stomach thinking about it because he feels that you are or will be unfaithful.
You don't know how to prove to him that you are faithful and that he is the only person you are focused on.
It get's really frustrating.
Do you know what is wrong? He is insecure.
He loves you and doesn't want his heart broken.
He probably had a cheater before that ruined his heart once and he doesn't want that again, so he's worried.
You need to shower him with affection.
Always try to do sweet things.
Give him a big hug and kiss every time he comes home.
Try to hold him and touch him and tell him you love him every single day.
When he asks you if you are cheating or ever will, you need to refrain from getting defensive.
All it is doing is making you look guilty.
Instead you should be looking into his eyes and saying "Why would I do that? You give me everything I could ever want from a man".
You can't argue.
You need to be there for him.
He has these issues for a reason.
It won't be easy, but if you can make him feel appreciated all the time, eventually he will stop and look to you as the perfect woman.
The best relationships revolve around passion, romance, affection, kindness, generosity, respect, communication and security.
All of these are very important to hold a loving relationship together.
Actions speak louder than words and this is something that you need to recognize and pay attention to.
Without including all these actions into your relationship, it will start to develop doubt and mistrust even when you are the most faithful.
Learn to nurture your relationship and watch it strengthen itself into an unbreakable partnership.
