- 1). Plug a USB cell phone charger into the charging outlet on your cell phone. The charging outlet is typically located on the side or bottom of most cell phones.
- 2). Plug the USB jack into the USB outlet on a PC or laptop. On a PC, the USB outlets are located on the tower. On laptops, the USB outlets are located on either side of the laptop.
- 3). Press the "Power" button to turn the computer on. Once powered on, the battery will begin charging. Depending on the type of phone you own, a charging light or charging icon may light up or appear on your phone. Allow the battery to continue charging until the battery is full.
