Do you have tinnitus? If so, I don't want to waste too much of your time, but would instead like to give you some viable options for immediate relief. Before I share this valuable information with you, however, I've got an assertion that I want to share with you. If you've done any research on the subject, then you've undoubtedly heard that this is an incurable condition. And you may have even been told by a doctor that you're just going to have to learn to live with your condition.

But here's the thing. "Disease" doesn't accurately define what tinnitus is. It's merely the side effect of some underlying condition. And until you know what's causing your tinnitus, you can't rule out the possibility of curing it. There is definitely hope for you, unless the phantom noises in your ears have been caused by some type of irrepairable brain or inner ear damage.

However, there are so many potential causes of tinnitus that you can't possibly know if yours is treatable or not unless you go in and get yourself diagnosed. Earwax buildup, physical trauma, emotional stress, cochlear nerve damage, medication, high blood pressure, and hearing loss are all possible causes, and there are countless others. What's more, every single cause requires a completely separate treatment from the next. As I'm sure you can imagine, there is no "magic bullet" treatment that is able to solve ALL of these problems at once

I've participated in tinnitus forum after tinnitus forum, and can tell you that virtually every one of them have been incredibly warm, helpful, and inspirational. And through these communities, many ideas and treatment options have been shared... and more than a handful of folks claim to have experienced major breakthroughs.

Here Are a Few of the Commonly Recommended Tinnitus Remedies:

* Masking devices (almost always recommended)
* Acupuncture and/or acupressure
* Deep meditation
* 7-day juice fast
* Basic sound blocking (cracking your car window when you drive, constantly playing music, etc.)
* Fresh pineapple, and lots of it!
* EGb 761 (a type of Ginkgo biloba extract)
* 40mg. Vinpocetine, daily
* Garlic oil dripped directly into the ear

If you see something on this list that you haven't tried or heard of, please feel free to research it and put it to use, if you think it might benefit you. It is important to note that you are not being given medical advice here, as these are just home remedies that your fellow tinnitus sufferers have used to successfully reduce or eliminate their symptoms. You can implement all of these tinnitus remedies at once, or try them each individually if you would like to know specifically which ones have helped you.

Moreover, there are far more treatment options than I can fit into this one short article, so if you try everything on my list and are still unable to find relief, please don't stop seeking out and trying new things. Again, tinnitus forums are truly goldmines of quality information. What's great about forums is that 9 times out of 10 the ideas and recommendations you're receiving are not from sales people, but rather from fellow tinnitus sufferers who are simply trying to get to the bottom of this terrible disorder.
