Breathing In and Into the Moment

You have heard or used the cliché - 'Today is a gift.
That is why it is called the present.
' attributed to Babatunde Olatunji.
Many people go through the day on autopilot with 'To Do' list in hand and are unaware that each moment is the only moment there is.
The past is gone and the future is yet to come with the next moment.
The world is in the midst of a dynamic gift of awakening at a greater rate than ever before.
Universal energies are shifting through those who have awakened long ago.
You can experience this uniform, universal, unilateral connectedness with your Spiritual self through your breath.
You are connected by the universal breath of life.
You are being breathed into being.
There is rhythmic breathing that transpires with every person you spend time with.
You need to be mindful of their impact on you and your impact on them.
Does your energy emanate positiveness or negativity? Do the people around you emanate positiveness or negativity? Right now pause for a few minutes and notice your breath going in and out.
Pay attention.
This is a gift from God.
Breathing is regulated by the autonomic system, yet, it is imperative to be aware of your breathing.
All too often people shallow breathe, which causes the brain to be oxygen deprived.
When the brain is oxygen deprived, the heart rate increases in an effort to bring adequate oxygen, so that the brain can function optimally.
Thus, it is important to take a deep breath at least every thirty minutes.
When you stay present in the moment, instead of racing ahead with your thoughts or worrying ahead, you can monitor your breathing rhythm so that you keep your brain oxygenated.
An oxygenated brain helps you stay connected to the God (higher/highest self) within.
