If you have tried the self tanning sprays and they are not working for you, there is still one option to consider; you can simply go outside in the sun.
After all, this was the only way to get a tan no longer than five or ten years ago.
Sure, going into the sun is hot and you may run the risk of being burnt, but at the same time it can give you the golden brown look that you have been pining for.
Here are a few tips to follow when trying to get your tan by laying out in the sun.
1.
Make sure that you are aware of your skin type and what it takes to get a tan.
If you know what you can handle, then you never have to worry about taking things to far.
This is when people usually run into problems such as sun burn.
2.
Just because you want to get a tan does not mean that you should not use sun tan lotion.
This is a great way to protect your skin while also getting a tan.
Even though you will not tan as fast, it is still the way to go in order to ensure that you do not get burnt and end up with a major problem on your hands.
3.
Find out when the best time of the day is to tan in your area.
This way you will be able to take advantage of this time, and then get out of the sun as soon as possible.
