Have More Fun

"People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.
" - Dale Carnegie Quit being hard on yourself...
if what you are doing is not bringing you satisfaction, quit doing it! this goes for paying your bills(I do not mean quit paying your bills) or doing your laundry.
How can you do what your doing and have fun in the process? Can you sing a song while you are doing the dishes? How about work-what do you love about your job? What can you find to love about your job? What makes you laugh? What brings you a smile to think about? If you are consistently complaining about some area of your life, how can you find the blessing in where you are? In order to do all of the above, you must give up the need to struggle and choose to create life according to what you want! Wouldn't you rather make it fun than stressful? I certainly would! Let yourself out When was the last time your were "bad".
If you eat cookies every day, that doesn't count.
If you smoke, that doesn't count either.
If you are on a diet and ate a cookie recently, WAY TO GO.
Where do you limit yourself that you may not be living up to your potential? Are you slightly dissatisfied at your job? When was the last time you used your voice at work? I am not recommending a walkout or anything like that.
I am recommending you shake things up a bit.
Drive a different way to work.
Every day this week, find one thing to do that makes you feel rebellious, but does not get you in too much trouble.
I personally like staying up late, walking around the house naked, dancing for fun, singing just because..
..
I am always open to suggestions...
In the past 2 weeks, I have been roller skating, bowling, riding go-karts and killing the ball at the batting cages.
(I recommend all of the above for anger management) Climb a tree, or a mountain...
When was the last time you looked down upon your life? Step outside of your shoes.
As an outsider looking in, would you say you are a fun person? What could you be doing to have more fun than you are currently? I personally like to climb.
I go to the climbing gym to get out of my head, into my body and transcend my fear of heights and feeling out of control.
This works.
Next time you see a tree that lends its limbs to lower heights, inviting you to climb on, challenge yourself to give it a try.
You might just like what you see.
"Man consists of two parts, his mind and his body, only the body has more fun.
" Woody Allen Go to yoga.
When was the last time you were in a room full of people with their butts in the air acting like dogs? Sounds like fun to me!!! Do not fear stretching your body.
Get out of your own way and open up your body in yoga class.
Have fun transforming the stress in your body to energizing and infectious energy.
The people in your life will thank you.
Your body will love you for it.
You might just want to keep coming back.
Adopt an attitude of gratitude Once again, quit doing things that bring you down and find a way to be grateful for what you do have and the fun you are having.
Gratitude is an attractive elixir, aiding in the assimilation of the positive in your life and relieving you of what gets in the way of you coming out to play.
The more you orient yourself to what you are grateful for at work, in your home, with your finances and personal relationships, the more fun you can have as you smile at what you are creating.
Lie on your back in the grass Open your mind and look at the sky.
Feel your body making contact with the earth.
Feel the ground supporting your body-that which is always available to you.
Smile just because you can.
Maybe invite a friend along to lie with you.
From there, relax and let go.
Having fun can be as simple as taking a break.
Make it so.
