The Native American Culture of Today and Its Remnants of the Past
Native Americans are no exception to that. As a matter of fact, their culture is as rich as the vibrant hues that color the Earth under the glistering sunshine. Over the centuries, they have primarily established a sound identity that makes them unique for who they are. For instance, if you see someone wearing an Indian Headdress then the first thing that comes to mind would definitely be the Native American Indians.
Various marks of their cultural character allow us to better understand what they believe, what they are capable of, and what their perspectives are. For example, assorted handmade crafts that show their creativity and spirituality would grant us the privilege to get to know them better.
However, as time passes by, we can only count the days back to the past and admittedly attest to the fact that change will always overpower culture no matter how strong it is. The most authentic American culture had been smeared with the dominance of cultural metamorphosis over the years and what is left of today are just simply bits and pieces of the strongest parts of their yesterday's aestheticism.

The gradual change
After the natives' first contact with the Europeans around 500 years ago, the Native Americans began to familiarize themselves with new weapons and tools for feeding themselves, as well as animals that alleviated and expedited their hunting routines. Horses, guns, and new techniques modified their way of living over the course of time although for the most part, their ethnicity remained intact.
Over the centuries, technology had become a necessity for the rest of the world. And with the parallel decline of their population, the Native Americans eventually lost their prestige in the North American territory.

Native Americans of Today
Nowadays, their fire of culture is being ignited. Natives and non-natives alike are contributing to the rebirth of the Native American Indian culture through art, handmade products, rituals, and tribal stories that have once marked their individuality as part of a strong race. In fact, others seem to adopt such culture to a staggering level that are sometimes deemed inapproriate by the natives.
Although it is undeniable that America has indeed evolved into a super nation where it harbors all types of people in the face of the Earth, the Natives have continued to coexist with a multi-racial crowd, bringing with them a touch of their identity that adds up to the real value of coexistence. Their relocation from their traditional lands have led them to infuse into a larger culture and at the same time respect, understand, and adapt to the actuality of cultural diversity. After all, the Native American culture is one speck of the enormous circle of different cultures that make the planet truly diverse.
