• SC Johnson is the manufacturer of the seven Shout products. Shout Wipes are cloths for use when away from home. They are instant stain removers. Shout Trigger, Advanced Gel, Advanced Aerosol, Ultra Gel and Citrus Action are all products for home use. Shout Trigger is for regular stains that have not set in from the dryer. Advanced Gel is for stubborn stains. Advanced Aerosol is for tough grease and oil stains. Ultra Gel has a brush to pretreat stubborn stains. Citrus Action is for large-area stains. It has a pop-up nozzle for easy application. Shout also has Color Catcher, which are sheets you put in the water to stop colors from bleeding into other fabrics. All of the Shout products are phosphate and bleach free. Even the containers are recyclable.
  
  

How it Works

• Shout products contain surfactants and enzymes to help remove stains. Surfactants are substances that break up the stain and keep the stain particles from redepositing on the fabric. Enzymes break down the stain, so the water can remove the particles. Pretreating the stain helps lift the stain when it is washed. Shout Trigger is easy to use. Simply saturate the stain and wait one to five minutes before washing. Shout Advanced Gel was designed for stubborn stains, set-in stains and greasy stains. You can leave it on overnight before washing. Advanced Aerosol has foaming action and works best on grease or oil stains. Simply saturate the area and wait one to five minutes before washing. Shout Ultra Gel has a brush to loosen the stain particles. You can leave it on for up to a week before washing. Citrus Action works on large stains and can be left on overnight.
  Shout Wipes are portable towelettes that come individually packaged for easy storage. Lightly scrub the stain and wait for it to dry. It may take two applications. Shout Wipes remove coffee, blood, grease from food and even mustard.
  
  

Tips

• On the Shout It Out website, there are a number of tips for using the different products. Shout works on all colorfast material. The only product you can use on dry clean only garments is the Shout Wipes. Since some garments bleed color, you should always pretest the material to avoid lightening areas. Stubborn stains may take two applications to work. Avoid scrubbing the stain. Ultra Gel can be left on for a week but not on bright-colored clothes or khaki pants. On bright clothes or khaki pants, leave it on for just a few minutes. Always read the instructions on each one of the products as well as the washing instructions for the garments.
