    • Nature contains many anti-blackhead treatments. The herb fenugreek is one. Crush some fenugreek leaves and mix with water to form a paste. Put the paste on areas with blackheads and leave for about 10 minutes. Rinse the paste off with lukewarm water. This method will stop blackheads from forming. Use the paste daily.

Another herbal remedy is to use a nightly pack with coriander leaves. Put a teaspoon of juice from coriander leaves and a half-teaspoon of turmeric powder on blackheads before bed. Wash it off the next morning with cold water. This will help improve your overall skin appearance as well as reduce blackheads.

Put warmed honey on blackheads and leave it for 10 minutes. Honey will serve as a peel and help remove blackheads and your skin's condition overall.

Lemon juice is another natural treatment that is great for skin. Squeeze the juice from one lemon and apply it directly to blackheads. Do this two or three times per day to help clear blackheads from skin by tightening your pores. You can also try mixing equal amounts of lime juice with powdered cinnamon and leaving it on your face overnight; then wash it off in the morning.

Another easy treatment is to grate a potato and rub it onto problem skin. This works for blackheads and whiteheads and can also help with wrinkles. You can also make a paste from radish seeds and water. Apply this to blackheads and rinse off after 15 minutes.

    Masks

    • To prevent future breakouts and get rid of current blackheads, mix oatmeal powder with rose water to form a paste. Spread this mixture onto your face using your fingertips and let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse with cold water. When applying this mask, target your "T-zone" (forehead, nose and chin) and other problem areas.

    Other common ingredients

    • There are several methods that rely on common household ingredients. To extract blackheads, mix equal parts of baking soda and water. Rub this mixture on skin with blackheads. Rub for a few minutes then wash off. Some blackheads should be immediately removed.
Boil 4 cups of water in a pan and add 2 teaspoons of baking soda. Put a towel over the pan. Remove the towel and place it on the areas with blackheads. Repeat this five or six times.
Soak a cotton ball in a mixture made from Epsom salt, idodine and warm water. Use equal parts of each ingredient. Dab the cotton ball onto blackheads to loosen pores. Afterward, apply a facial scrub, such as the one made from baking soda and water, to remove blackheads.
