Does Chocolate Cause Acne Problems?

Does chocolate cause acne? Do you really have to say good bye to something you love in order to overcome your skin problem? The truth is that it might not be the chocolate that is causing your acne per se.
You see, a lot of processed sugar, dairy, additives, preservatives and other chemicals are used in almost all chocolate bars.
Scientists have theorized that it is these additives and unhealthy sugars that cause acne and health problems.
You should also keep your own journal to see how a specific chocolate bar affects your skin.
We are all unique so different substances in different products will affect you in various ways.
This is why scientists are so puzzled when many are clearing their acne by only eating a healthy diet.
The reason why they are puzzled is because they've concluded that diet has nothing to do with acne, because acne is caused by the sebum (oil) in your skin.
But what about the indirect effects of food? Those are most likely very hard to track.
There is no doubt that eating a healthier diet and living a healthier lifestyle not only affects your health, but also your skin.
By eating more fruits and vegetables, you will be giving your body and skin a truckload of nutrients that it requires.
Many have also started using multivitamins and other natural supplements in order to consume a sufficient amount of different vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
In conclusion, chocolate can cause acne in many people, but it may not necessarily be true for you.
This is why I recommend that you keep track of how your body reacts to different foods.
You can easily do this by eliminating a food from your diet for 2-4 weeks and seeing what happens.
Do this with all processed foods, you might just be surprised with the results.
