What Is the Easiest - Positive or Negative?
I know what you are going to say, it has got to be Positive.
Wrong! Being negative is much easier to do than being positive.
Think about it.
How many rich people do you know compared to poor people.
Unless you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth (which is very few and far between) you have to really work at making a success of your life.
You need to have a real positive attitude to succeed and this has to be constant, day in and day out.
How many people do you know that fits that description? Negative people accept life as it is, even though they desire to be rich, it goes no further than that.
They may have a positive thought but it is soon overwritten by a negative thought.
If someone offers them a great opportunity, they say, 'Yes I can do that'.
Then, one of their so called friends will say, 'You won't be able to do that so why bother.
' The more powerful out of the two results, is the negative because it is so much easier to say no than it is to say yes.
Yes, means you have to take action.
No, means you do not need to do anything.
I am afraid it is the way of the world and that is why most people live in a hum drum lifestyle.
They would say, 'I wish I was in his/her shoes' but then do nothing about it, to make that change happen.
Let's take a real life example of how positive can overcome negative.
My friend Darren called me last week and asked me if I was interested in a golden opportunity.
I told him I was already involved in two great ventures but I saw no harm to listen to what he had to say.
We met up at a hotel a few days later.
Firstly, he asked me what I was working on at the moment so I told him and that I was very excited about it.
He then went on to explain about his venture.
He was very excited and enthusiastic about what he was doing.
Like me, he lived and breathed the product, the support and the compensation plan.
He told me, he had been with the company for over two years so they were well established.
He knew I was going to say no because I was in a very similar situation and we mirrored each other's thoughts but he just wanted to put his feeling across by talking to another person, like himself.
It was fantastic listening to him though because of his positive thoughts.
He did not worry about people saying no because he knew that he will eventually get a yes.
And that yes could explode his business.
He was already well on his way to financial freedom.
The point I am trying to make is that, if you really believe in what you have is the best, then stick with it like glue, no matter what others might say, to try to put you off.
Believe in yourself and devote all your efforts into this! A word of caution though - Make sure that what you choose is not a get rich quick scheme.
I promise you, these do not exist.
Make sure the company is well established and still growing.
(At least two years old).
Check out the support and their pay plan.
Do an in-depth research on the company.
Once you have done all this and you are still happy then make the decision whether to go ahead or not.
Remember, you have to love everything about the business because this is what you have to focus on once that decision is made.
I can help with this if you want me to.
Don't let others put you down.
Only listen to positive people.
I have a very close friend called Vasi.
I have always listened to his advice.
The last thing he said to me was: The Secret to the Law of Attraction is in the last 6 letters of the phrase...
The word is ACTION.
Without this nothing changes.
This is so true.
Even if it leads nowhere, you will still get something out of it.
Like the example above.
Really believe in what you do, it can only lead to success.
In a nutshell, nothing is easy in life.
It takes strength and that strength can only come from within.
No matter what I say, you are the only person that can make that decision.
