Frank Bell’s Background:

Frank Bell had an affinity for working with difficult animals since he was very young. He has worked with OTTBs, trained polo ponies and was the Rocky Mountain Training Center 1999 Trainer Of The Year.

He’s earned recognition for his work with therapeutic riding and has been the subject of TV, magazine and radio features.

Frank Bell’s Tools:

Bell offers his headstall with mecate or yacht rope reins, an extensible telescoping wand and rope halters used in his training method.

Bell has been featured on major television networks and he was featured in the Western Horseman Magazine. He is involved with riding for the handicapped, Mustang, and inmate programs.

Frank Bell uses a seven step method to avoid or stop unwanted behavior. He regards bonding and ground work as essential before riding begins. Based on Natural Horsemanship methods Bell’s vision is to teach owners to safely handle and train their horses regardless of what riding discipline they choose. Bell’s methods are grounded in the teachings of Tom Dorrance who’s methods are the cornerstone of what is now known as “Natural Horsemanship”.
