How to Avoid Rug Burns
- 1). Wear pants and long sleeves whenever you are at risk of getting rug burns. The clothing will help protect you.
- 2). Place a towel underneath your knees when you are cleaning walls and floors, to prevent friction between the rug and your knees.
- 3). Lift your arms up, if you are sliding down a plastic, metal or vinyl slide. This will prevent friction between your skin and the slide, which will cause burns.
