• Capture your relationship in a scrapbook and present to your significant other on your anniversary. Gather photographs of you, your lover and places you both like. Organize the photographs into a photo album or scrapbook. Include short blurbs with every picture about your feelings and reactions to the pictures and events. Write messages like "you looked so pretty that day" or "this is the day I knew I was falling in love with you." You can also include ticket stubs and passes to events you attended together. • Show your boyfriend or girlfriend you listen and care about what he or she likes. Pay attention to his favorite band or her favorite sport team and peruse the Internet for upcoming shows. Visit websites like Ticketmaster and Live Nation for event tickets or find tickets for sold out events on classified websites such as Kijiji or Craigslist. Buy two tickets to whichever event you choose and accompany your partner. Not only will you show your partner you are intuitive but that you want to share in what he or she enjoys as well. • Give your boyfriend or girlfriend the gift of music. Create a soundtrack with a list of songs that remind you of your partner. You can adapt the soundtrack to compact disc, cassette or sync to an ipod play list. Include love songs that make you think of him or her, your favorite songs and "your song" if you have one. Try using recording software on your computer to add a special message as an introduction to the soundtrack. • A homemade coupon book makes a simple and cheap, yet thoughtful gift for your significant other. Give your partner a homemade coupon book, only redeemable from you. You can create coupons with a computer or printer or paper and pen. Be creative. Think of things your boyfriend or girlfriend enjoys like shopping or watching movies. Create coupons for a companion on a day of shopping or choice of movie rental. Also include coupons for home-cooked meals, candlelight dinners, massages and any other romantic gestures. Compile the coupons and staple together to look like a book than present to your lover on your anniversary.
