How to Figure Out Your Numerical GPA
- 1). Write down a list of your current courses and the letter grades you received for each one.
- 2). Create a separate list of the number that represents each letter grade. A+=4.3, A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-=2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C-=1.7, D+=1.3, D=1.0, D-=0.7, E=0.
- 3). Write the number next to your list of current courses and grades. Calculate the sum of all of the grade numbers you wrote down and write the total below your list.
- 4). Divide the total sum of the grade numbers by the number of courses you originally counted your grades for. The result is your numerical GPA score.
