How to Clean Brick Houses

1). Spray the bricks with water from a garden hose to wet the bricks. Scrub the bricks with a stiff bristled brush to remove loose dirt.
2). Rinse off the dirt and debris from the house by spraying the bricks with water from the garden hose. Inspect the bricks for mold and moss.
3). Scrape mold and moss off of the house with a non-metallic spatula. A metal spatula should not be used, as it can scratch the bricks.
4). Mix 1 cup of bleach with 1 gallon of water in a bucket. The bleach solution will kill mold spores and moss.
5). Dip the brush into the solution. Scrub the moldy bricks with the brush, occasionally dipping the brush into the bleach solution.
6). Rinse off the bleach solution by spraying the bricks with water from the garden hose. Allow the bricks to air-dry.
