How to Repair a Scratch on an LCD TV
- 1). Blow off the LCD TV's screen with compressed air. Gently wipe off the screen with a clean side of a lint-free cloth, starting at the upper left corner and moving across to the right side, then returning to the left side and repeating the process until reaching the lower right corner.
- 2). Apply a dab of petroleum jelly to the tip of the cotton swab. Press the cotton swab against the LCD screen a half inch to the left of the scratch.
- 3). Move the cotton swab gently across the length of the scratch, stopping a half inch past the scratch. Dispose of the cotton swab.
- 4). Place a clean edge of the lint free cloth against the LCD screen a half inch to the left of the scratch. Move the lint free cloth gently across the length of the scratch, stopping a half inch past the scratch. Dispose of the lint free cloth.
- 5). Blow off the LCD TV's screen again with compressed air.
