How to Attach Ribbon to Fondant
- 1). Bake the cake according to the recipe, and cover it with fondant.
- 2). Attach the beginning of the ribbon with a decorative pin, such as one with a pearl or a flower on the end.
- 3). Wrap the ribbon around the cake, and keep it taut.
- 4). Continue to wrap the ribbon around the cake, adding decorative pins every 3 to 4 inches.
- 5). Remove the first pin, and place the end of the ribbon over the other end. Replace the pin.
