Dooars & Other Tea-Producing Regions of India
Dooars (in dark green) is a lesser-known tea-producing region of India.
Dooars is located in the foothills near Darjeeling, but its flavor is strong and full-bodied, like a mild Assam black tea. In recent years, it has begun to see some acceptance outside of commodity-grade tea for teabags. Many tea drinkers choose to add milk to their Dooars teas.
