Human growth hormones, the naturally produced ones not the steroid, are responsible for how large someone becomes and for the size of the muscles that they have. When you work out, particularly if you have a resistance training routine where you're lifting heavy weights, you create a surge in your growth hormones. When that surge happens you repair damaged muscle fibers, and what's more important for many bodybuilders, you add more muscle than you had before.

However, that being said, there are always people looking for that little extra boost to add that extra surge or two to their workouts. To that end people used to take HGH, or human growth hormone, as a supplement when trying to add more muscle mass. However, while effective, HGH has to be processed in the liver before it can be released into the rest of the body to get to work building up your muscles. And for a time, that was fine. Technology has moved on and moved up though, and now we have access to IGF-1 LR3, a much more potent and faster acting formula than traditional HGH ever has been.

IGF-1 LR3 is a chemical composition that doesn't need to be processed in the liver before going to work. As such it can get right to your muscle fibers, aiding in recovery and recuperation immediately. It also has the added benefit that its results are equal to, or greater than, traditional human growth hormone. In addition to repairing muscle fibers IGF-1 LR3 also thickens those fibers, and helps create new fibers to increase the size of muscles as well as keeping them working smooth and strong.

IGF-1 has only been recorded on laboratory rats and children, but tests were positive and they led to other tests becoming necessary. Further study led to a variety of health products and muscle building supplements using IGF-1 either instead of, or alongside, traditional HGH. However, these steroid compounds aren't just something you can go down to the health store and pick up. You're going to have to do some shopping online, and possibly through specialty stores that will have the product you want with the chemical composition that you're looking for.

As always, remember to check what is actually contained in any formula you choose to use. Also, remember, consult your doctor before starting any supplements to be certain that there are no health risks.
