- 1). Dust mop the marble tile to remove dirt, dust and other debris. It's important to get rid of all dirt, because it can scratch the marble during the cleaning process.
- 2). Clean the tile with a stone soap made especially for marble. Many stone soaps come in liquid form and must be diluted with water, so read the directions carefully before using it. Scrub the tile with a soft sponge soaked in the stone soap solution.
- 3). Rinse the tile with a mop or a clean sponge and clean water, and dry it with a clean towel. Dry the tile immediately after rinsing, because marble is susceptible to water spots.

Scrub the tile with a sponge soaked in a solution of mild liquid dish detergent and water to remove any dirt or water stains that don't come off with the dust mop. Properly sealed marble tile stays shiny and makes for quick and easy cleanup.
