It is a good pleasure for me this morning to be writing this article with the intention to inspire you to be able to laugh even at the face of that seemingly big problem.
Today as I woke up on my bed, I was greeted by a wild headache.
I wondered, where is this headache coming from, i had a sweet night sleep, there is not even a remembrance of any dream, meaning there was no disturbance during my sleep.
Where then is this headache coming from? I know, as a spiritual man that it comes from the enemy.
Now, please understand when I talk about enemy, I am not referring to that man or woman with whom you are keeping malice, or your mother-in-law, or the neighbor that offended you yesterday.
The Bible tells us who our real enemy is, "We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places" Ephesians 6: 12 Your real enemy is the devil and all those wicked demons under his control.
They are responsible for all the hatred that exist between people in this world, they are the reason behind every sickness and disease.
You know that certain diseases like malarial develops resistance to certain drugs.
This is true, certain drugs that cures malaria fever effectively before are becoming weaker because, somehow, the demons behind the fever are also at work, so scientist are also manufacturing greater drugs that cures the disease.
So I woke up with this great headache and I knew that the source is evil, from certain demons of wickedness who just choose to make me miserable on that day.
Having determined the source of the headache, the next thing is to deal with it, I mean deal with the headache as well as with the source from which it came.
I immediately remembered how Rev Kenneth E Hagin of blessed memory taught us to always laugh at the devil.
So there and then I knew that the Lord wanted me to use the power of laughter to defeat the devil.
I began to laugh, even though the headache seemed to be getting worse, but I did not stop to laugh.
I sang praise with real joy, and guess what? By the time I had finished the praise session in a laughing attitude, the headache was completely gone.
As I received God's command to write this article for the encouragement of all of you whom God will bring to read this, He told me to encourage you and charge you to laugh the devil in the face of problem.
When you laugh instead of weep in the face of the problem, the devil will feel so embarrassed that he will quickly pack his load and leave you alone.
See, the problem is real but as soon as the source of that problem is taken care of, the problem is gone.
Its like killing a plant by destroying its root.
If you can get at the root of any plant, then you are sure that is the end of that plant.
No matter how low you cut the plant, it will spring up during its favorable time, but if you deal with the root, it is settled forever, so pure and simple.
We need to know that laughing in the face of the problem is getting at the root of that problem, it is telling the power behind my problem that I am superior.
