The California Triangle of November, 2008

Many of the UFO sighting reports we receive these days are sent to various UFO web sites by a single witness. Unfortunately, these reports are of interest for a short period of time, and then fade into oblivion. They offer us no positive proof for the existence of UFOs.
One exception to this is the recent sighting of a large, V or triangle-shaped object seen over California in November, 2008. This report has been validated by four witnesses, all unbeknownst to each other, and from different locations.

First Sighting

The first report was sent to MUFON. A man and his girlfriend were about to drive to dinner just after 8:00 PM. They were in a convertible with the top down, affording them the smell of brush fires to their north in Santa Clarita. As they backed out of their driveway, they noticed an unusually large object in the northeastern sky.

Almost all of his life, the man had been an airplane buff, even creating many models of various planes. His knowledge fell short, however, to explain what he was seeing now.

What he saw scared the hell out of him. He yelled to his girlfriend, "Looks like a friggin' UFO to me babe!"

An enormous, V-shaped craft was slowly moving toward the north. The man, well able to judge the craft's size from his years of experience, estimated the UFO to be several hundred feet across! The object, with numerous red lights underneath, disappeared in a few seconds.

Second Sighting

A second witness also saw the enormous object. Along with family members, he watched the "Battlestar Galactica" like object from the back deck of his home in Calabas.

He made a written report to MUFON, and also phoned them explaining what he and his family saw.

Third Sighting

The third report was made by a woman from Long Beach. It began "I can't believe it." The witness continued to describe her account by saying that she and her children had visited a neighbor down the street, and arriving back home, she met her husband, who was watering the front lawn. Suddenly, their son Shannon screamed, "Hey, mom, a triangle."

The craft appeared as a boomerang with red lights at first, but when additional rear lights came on, they could see that the object was definitely a triangle.

They watched it travel over the ocean toward Long Beach Airport. After seeing the object move on, their last comment was, "It was huge."

Fourth Sighting

The fourth and last report of the UFO was made by a man who was walking his dog at 6:12 PM, when he saw an enormous grouping of lights in a triangle formation.

He thought he counted six red lights on each side of the triangle shape. It was moving toward the north, and he also described it as "big." He stated that the UFO moved through the flight path of LAX.

He is quite sure that at least one of the planes, if not more, had to have seen the object, as it slowly made its way through the night sky. Coincidentally, he also associated the UFO with something from "Battlestar Galactica."

The four sightings of the enormous triangle-shaped object are under investigation, and I will update this article if any new, pertinent information is released.
