Episode 3x3, Further Instructions

Locke wakes in the jungle to find that he cannot speak. He returns to the beach and builds a sweat lodge. While in there, he has a vision of Boone taking him through the airport and telling him that someone needs help. Locke sees many of the people from the island, but finally discovers that it's Eko he needs to help. The last part of his vision is a polar bear rushing him.

He allows Charlie to go with him as he searches for Eko. He finds him in a cave, but has to fight a polar bear to get Eko. With Charlie's help, he leads him towards camp. While Charlie gets water, Locke talks to Eko, who is completely out. He says he messed up and it's his fault that Jack, Kate, and Sawyer have been captured. He should have protected them. Eko comes to just long enough to tell Locke that he can still save them because he is a hunter.

Episode 3x5, The Cost of Living

After a fire burns his shelter, Eko disappears. Locke asks if Eko said anything after they pulled him out, and Charlie says he talked about his brother. Locke knows that Eko must be going to the drug plane. Locke wanted to go there anyway to see if Sayid could communicate with the Others through the computer in the Pearl Station. Locke invites anyone who wants to, to come along.
They catch up with Eko, and Locke realizes that Eko had seen something at the stream, but Eko won't tell him what it was. Locke says that he once saw a beautiful white light, but Eko says that's not what he saw.

Inside the Pearl, Sayid taps into one of the TVs that shows what looks like another station with a big computer in it. A man with a patch over his eye comes into the frame and switches off the camera.

Episode 3x6, I Do

Locke doesn't want to take Eko's body back to the beach, so he tells Desmond, Sayid, Nikki, and Paulo that he will go back to the beach to get some shovels, then they can bury him right where he is. Sayid says he will go with Locke, but Locke doesn't want him to go. Sayid says it's not safe, so Locke let's him go.
As they walk, Sayid asks Locke what he really thinks killed Eko, and Locke says the people at the beach call it the monster. They return with the shovels and Eko's prayer stick. Locke says a few words and as he's pounding the prayer stick into the ground, he notices that one of the engravings say, "Lift up your eyes and look north John 3:05."

Episode 3x10, Tricia Tanaka is Dead

Kate tells Locke and Sayid that Jack asked that they not come for him, but she owes him and she is going to get him. She leaves to go get help. Locke and Sayid follow her and see that she wants help from Rousseau.

Episode 3x11, Enter 77

Locke goes with Sayid, Kate, and Rousseau in search of the Others' camp. Locke wants to follow the compass bearing 3-0-5 because he saw a message on Eko's stick. He doesn't know if it will lead to the Others' camp or somewhere else, but he feels he must follow it.
They find a farm house and a man with an eye patch. The man says his name is Mikhail and he is the last surviving member of the Dharma Initiative. As Kate and Sayid talk to Mikhail, Locke looks around. He finds a computer with a chess game on it. Mikhail tells him it's impossible to win the chess game, but later Locke wins.

After his win, a message from Dr. Marvin Candle comes on the screen. The message gives Locke numbers to push in order to gain contact to the outside world. After Sayid takes Mikhail prisoner, he asks Locke to guard him, but Locke is drawn back to the computer.

Mikhail is able to take Locke prisoner because Locke is so focused on the game. Sayid takes Mikhail prisoner once again and Locke plays the game to get the message from Dr. Candle. Presumably, Locke enters the number 77 into the computer. A few minutes later, when they are all outside, the building blows up.

Episode 3x12, Par Avion

Locke and Sawyer argue as they take Mikhail through the jungle in their search for the Others' camp. Mikhail talks about each of them and says he must be confused about Locke. Locke obviously wants to know more, but they are interrupted when Rousseau notices the large pylons ahead of them.
Locke and Sayid argue some more and Kate decides that they will climb over the security system. She wants the axe and Locke offers to get it out of his pack, but Sayid grabs the pack first and finds that Locke has C-4, even though he had told Sayid that Sayid should have told him there was C-4 in the basement of The Flame. Locke knows he is caught and Sayid says they will talk about it later.

Episode 3x13, The Man From Tallahassee

Locke sneaks into Ben's bedroom and asks him where the submarine is. When Ben's daughter, Alex, comes in, Locke takes her hostage. Locke sends Alex to get Sayid's pack that has the C-4 in it.
Ben says he knows Locke and freaks him out when he says that he knows he was in a wheelchair for four years and he knows how Locke got in the wheelchair.

Ben tells Locke not to blow up the sub, but he does it anyway. Then he realizes that Ben had wanted him to blow up the sub all along and once again he has been the puppet.

Ben takes Locke to a small room where Locke is shocked to see his kidney-stealing daddy bound and gagged.
